Meet Your Doula

Lily Winowiski, Owner

I am a DONA-trained birth doula. I also offer postpartum support services, including lactation and newborn care support, as well as postpartum meal prep. I also support families experiencing miscarriage, anticipated stillbirth, and/or fatal fetal anomalies.

I am a mom of two girls. I became passionate about all things pregnancy and birth after my traumatic pregnancy and labor with my first daughter. I decided to become a doula after having a doula for my second pregnancy and experiencing a redemptive birth.

I hold DONA certificates in birth doula training and childbirth education. I have my bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Carroll University. My undergraduate capstone focused on the prevention of postpartum depression and the improvement of fetal and maternal health outcomes in Native American populations. I also hold certifications in CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and QPR.

I believe every woman has the right to a safe and satisfying birth experience. I believe every parent and family deserves compassionate, dedicated, and personalized support when they welcome a new human into the world. I believe your birth matters. I believe your baby matters. I believe YOU matter.

I look forward to meeting and supporting you!

  • "If you’re considering hiring a doula, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Advocate Doula Services. Lily was easy to talk to yet professional, knowledgeable about everything... I had some complications at the end of my pregnancy, during delivery, and even postpartum, but Lily put our minds at ease through all of it. I also really appreciate that she not only brought up concerns for me and my baby’s wellbeing, but also sat through the phone calls and trips to the ER with me." -Elizabeth, Birth Client & First Time Mom

  • "She was super professional, communicative, and was always there on time. She didn't hesitate to step in when we needed her the most and was there for all of it. For me, it was very comforting since I had no idea on what to do to comfort my wife, but she guided me through that and showed me how I could help her. She was so prepared too, my wife and I are very thankful for her... and we don't know what we would've done without her." —Chris, Birth Client & New Dad

From the very beginning, you could feel that this is more than a job for her, it's something she carries with genuine love and purpose. The care and presence she brought into this journey meant more to our family than we ever could have expected." -Rachel, Sister of Birth Client

  • "We hired Lily for overnight postpartum and she was great with our baby. She answered any question I had about newborn care and breastfeeding/pumping. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a postpartum doula." -Karli, Postpartum Client

How soon should I book doula services?
